A larger screen is much better not a TV, a dedicated computer monitor tho than eyefinity. As for performance, it doesn’t impact that much actually. The taskbar was all the way to the left instead of centered, lack of support in many games and no real benefit from it besides ‘looking’ cool. I noticed a FPS drop in BF3 and had to lower my settings to normals instead of all highs to get it to run smoothly, but then I’m not so good at computers so I actually don’t know about my specs etc: The time now is

Last edited by mmoc08e0cbb1c7; at So i just play BF3 on x single monitor. All times are GMT. Be sure that your gpu’s have a dual link dvi port. Most are rejected apple cinema screens, but apple only ones the best of the best so those rejects are still pretty awesome. Hot damn, didnt know they actually went for that much, in which case I wont be able to afford one for a long while Might try out eyefinity if an opportunity arises til I can afford a bigger display.
This because the graphical elements on the side become stretched and doesn’t require as much to draw from your GPU. And then comes the issues with fixing the interface and sometimes graphical issues. I find that it is nice in some titles to have the larger viewing space and increase to your peripheral vision, but in games such as shooters where Eyefinity is largely considered a big benefit you usually end up focusing on the center screen anyway.
Honestly, Eyefinity is a bit of a gimmick.
Windows is a 570×1080 in Eyefinity unfortunatly. For me it was amazing the first few times, but then that feeling slowly faded. The time now is Im guessing that the game would run much better with even one due to the 2gb RAM. Originally Posted by Cyanotical. Normally I would, but 2 problems here, 1. My build is in my sig, however I’m debating whether it’s worth it and I’m looking for someone who’s has experience on the subject.
Overwatch x | Damon S | Triple Monitor Backgrounds
It still needs to draw this information on a larger palette of course, but the information is more scare in the out-most “p” images than in the center one. All other games run well with x for me! I’ve ran with eyefinity for a while, and to be honest its not really worth it, i changed back to 2 screen within a few months. In driving and racing games I find that Eyefinity gives a nice feel, 567×1080 it doesn’t exactly enhance your experience by any means other than looks.
And what Cyanotical pointed out is pretty much spot on. I’d take a 5670d1080 monitor over x any day. I noticed a FPS drop in BF3 and had to lower my settings to normals instead of all highs to get it to run smoothly, but then I’m not so good at computers so I actually don’t know about my specs etc: As for performance, it doesn’t impact that much actually. There have been some updates to it since i left it, but simple stuff as browsing required lot of setup to not be a pain in the ass.
Eyefinity is not made for multi-screen productivity even if there are fixes and quirks available to greatly enhance the experience, I still find that running the three monitors “normally” has the best result without the hassle.
Just obtained a third monitor, here’s all my wallpapers to celebrate. 5670×1080
Cause most of the time you have to use a small tweaker program for the game or a modified file or something to get it to work in huge resolutions properly without stretching.
Otherwise you might need to work around that somehow. Look at the wheels on the truck. Thats too low for me. Yes, when you get your game to work in eyefinity it does look very good and it feels more fun to play. Its good to check https: Anyway, its an alternative for the more expensive ones. A larger screen is much better not a TV, a dedicated computer monitor tho than eyefinity.
